As someone who grew up with these powercards (and knows what it feels like when you can't afford them so you have to spend days without electricity...) this is infinitely more dread inducing than skinless eldritch abominations

There was a period where folk used to talk about folding the magstripe PowerCards to stop the edge being cut so you could use each one twice but I never ever say anyone manage it

really sucks cuz the games has had moments where it felt good (i.e in terms of my plays/decision making/planning mattering to my wins), but recently it just feels scripted, and largely based on luck on who draws their powercards and if you have those answers on not

I think both cards have to go for different reasons :
- High Octane has to go because Di/o is just too strong (best performing deck at worlds) and can just win games on turn 1 or 2 thanks to it with her other powercards which is against the philosophy that was defendend with the books banning.

Can't say I'm not a bit jealous seeing yet again an exp slot for lllusionist, but I was just voicing my opinion about how strong the card is, I'd say they keep getting 5* class cards that are either powercards or great synergy pieces over & over while others are kept starving & clunky, it's a fact🫠
