It's also worth remembering the powerdrunk marshal is likely just some volunteer who got 30 minutes training on "don't block the sidewalk and tell an organizer if things go sideways" and then got handed a yellow vest, they don't even necessarily really rep the org meaningfully

That's not stupidity, that's "yeah I'm a bigot, what can you do about it?" powerdrunk. And he's got every reason to go on a power trip: he cannot be challenged, and so is the rest of this admin, except with extreme violence.

I think I'll get there at some point, if list mods keep getting too powerdrunk to moderate without bias.
