In the end, I wasn’t quite able to finish my #MARCHintosh project on time, as my two #OWC 480GB SSDs have been stuck at customs for the past 10 days. So RAID0 is off the cards for March, and the #PowerMacG5 has to make do with 16GB of RAM, a #GeForce7800GT and Sorbet Leopard for the moment.

Had to downgrade from #GeForce7800GT to the fanless #GeForce6600. This critter is way too noisy, even even for me, and I’m used to quite a lot.🙉 #PowerMacG5

Finally got my hands on a last gen G5 Power mac, Dual Core 2.3Ghz, Came with 4GB RAM but of course ill be upgrading to 16GB 😉

あの時はG5がたったの2年で終売する短命なPowerPCになるとは
夢にも思わなかった……。
そうです、G5が発売してしばらくするとアップルはPowerPCでの

まあ、最悪OSなくっても、同時期のPowerMacG5の2.3Dualが古の楽曲サーバとして鎮座しているので、それから移植でもいいか。HDDは適当な部屋に転がってる500GBくらいをつけておこう。
