Also, if you're trying to preboard because of some privilege like a global pass or something, get the fuck out of the way until the disabled passengers have been able to board and shut your mouth about whether they deserve the right to board before you, with a chair, or at all.

Yesterday I flew LAS->NYC, noticed a white woman at the lounge with a sticker like the "I voted!" stickers but it said "I like ICE".
Then she and her husband pushed aside wheelchairs to "preboard", announcing they were in first class
Then they were rude to the flight attendants.
The worst people.

For real—-I try to get on last. And I certainly never thought twice about the people who preboard whether in wheelchairs or other mobility aids or with nothing at all. Insane there’s an entire article for it.

I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user. I can walk a little bit before I’m in agony. If i roll on, it’s bc I needed the chair to get to the gate and to preboard so I’m not knocked over in crowds. If i walk off it’s bc I only need to make it back up the ramp to catch the electric cart to my next gate.
