PCs at their core are special because they AREN’T predetermined like the world and characters made by the GM are. Players don’t adapt to a chaotic world the world tries to adapt to the PLAYERS to maintain narrative cohesion, and that’s sick af to me.

I do think everyone has a "thing" they were put on this earth to do, but it's more something you have to create for yourself than a divinely predetermined mandate
