One of the most encouraging developments of this era is that a lot of people have figured out that the Prestige Press always thumbs the scale for the Right and has for years.
when Barack Obama won by 7 points (and 365 electoral votes) in 2008 and Dems gained 21 seats in the House after picking up 31 two years earlier media elites did the same "whoa whoa whoa there's no mandate it's a center-right country" bullshit because that's what they do when Republicans lose.

Yeah that’s basically it. There are a lot of Indian Americans in virtually every level of prestige American professions these days, particularly in tech, and it infuriates white guys who think these things are their birthright.
