The hunter's moon appears painted in full scale, with blazing red and orange, over a black canvas, and Magnus and Lestat, their faces and shoulders centered before it, have the same hues in their eyes, along with their grey and blue irises, respectively. The rest of their aspects are shaded in graphite, without color. Both their gazes lock on the same direction, toward the viewer. Magnus curly hair and beard thickly cover his shoulders and chest, the loose strands plentiful and wild. Lestat's wavy hair frames his face and slips over the velvet cloak the two figures share, as he holds his end to hide most of his lips and chin. His strong hand is clearly visible, and his lace cuff and sleeve, but everything else is covered by the cloak. The intensity of his expression softens because it's neutral, whereas Magnus expression, standing behind him, has a fierce heat, defiant and protective.

Sketch of a middle aged man with silver streaked black curly hair, head tilted so only his eye and mouth is visible behind the curtain of falling hair. It's partially gathered over a ruff, which matches the era of the other clothes he wears, fur edged cloak, the doublet with the thick sleeves, the triangle pendant on a pearl chain, to represent the hand written symbol for fire in alchemy. His expression's subtle, but quite curious.

Magnus and Lestat in the style of Erik and Christine from the Phantom of the Opera, but Magnus wears a translucent black veil to obscure his features rather than a mask. They're singing together, both their lips shaped in the same fashion, as Lestat learns by seeing the motion and matching it with hearing his own voice in harmony. Magnus reaches upward with his hand, expressing with his full body. He's wearing an outfit from his birth century, the fourteen-hundreds, which is heavily pleated, the jacket has a collar and large puffed sleeves, the shirt has embroidery in a vertical pattern. Lestat's wearing only a corset, with pearls and a cross bound lacing, and a necklace that covers his neck fully, with pearls and rubies. There's an elegant shawl on his arms, but his shoulders are exposed.

Full page of text with the hand-written lyrics of songs "Like A Stone" as covered by Atreyu and "Winter" by Tori Amos, with a pen and marker sketch starkly interrupting the center, of Lestat's face tilted to stare at his raised open palm, a look on his face of painful longing streaked with heavy tears of blood, that trace his face and drip off his chin. Magnus stands behind him, only tall enough to show his closed eyes and brows, with a look of as much longing, hair blown in the wind like Lestat's and his arm raised in a mirror of Lestat's position, slipping through the lines of Lestat's hand with his longer fingers, with their exquisite long fingernails.

A sketch in graphite and ink of two vampires, the only color is bold red on the lips of one and the eyes of the other, implying that one drank blood and gave the other a kiss on their eyelid. The vampires are resting contentedly, their positions inverted, one giving a kiss to the other's cheek. Most of the composition around the faces is filled with flowing curly dark hair and wavy light hair. Based on book characters Lestat and Magnus from the Vampire Chronicles, on the night Lestat's turned into a vampire.

A golden sunset low on the horizon over a field of poppies, the nearest ones very detailed, with their red petals and wiry stalks and black seeds. Most of the sky is a grey blue dusk with dense bright stars. Magnus stands behind the nearest poppies, in a royal blue cloak and robe, both embroidered with the same red design only on the hems. His black curly hair covers over most of his chest, past his waist. A ceramic mask fits to his lower jaw that's a bold red, the nose and cheeks of the mask are stylized as a lion, and the open mouth has four prominent ivory fangs. His gaze is very intense. Lestat is next to Magnus, facing his body toward him but looking somewhat over his shoulder to the viewer. His head tilts back, his expression subtle, almost neutral. Lestat has one hand visible, clutching into Magnus hair. Magnus has one hand visible on the curve of Lestat's back, holding him closely. Lestat's green robes have a white hem, his cloak parting on the sides only, high up on the shoulder. Wavy golden curls touch all along the cloak hem at the shoulders, from his untethered hair.

Lestat carried by Magnus, from the story "The Hunter and the Surgeon". Wrapped in warm blankets and dressed in Magnus' clothes, Lestat clings as he's supported with a strong arm on his back and under his knees, his face hidden against Magnus shoulder. Magnus smiles with tired warmth, his curly hair in a bun but still disheveled, his curly greying beard against Lestat's hand on his shoulder. A wind chime hangs nearby, as Magnus cabin porch has many of them.

Magnus lays across the top of a gothic window, leaning forward to greet Nicolas standing inside it, who's seen and pushed aside Magnus long hair hanging over the window, with his bowstring. They're both smiling and amused with each other. Magnus wears all black, modern clothes that have a good fit, pants and long sleeves. Nicolas wears a plain knit bathrobe and lounge pants, the string tied in a bow, and his thick shoulder length curly hair has a bun tied in the back. His violin hovers near his shoulder, in his left hand, because he's just paused from playing moments ago. His fangs are visible, but not Magnus fangs are not.

Graphite drawing of the scene in the fic Then Shall Change Red where Magnus and Lestat kiss inside Magnus sarcophagus together. The view is top down, Lestat on his back, laying over Magnus chest, tilting his head to the side to french kiss Magnus. They're completely, passionately lost in the kiss, Lestat's bottom lip gliding over Magnus top lip. Lestat's elbow is cupping against the side of Magnus face, hugging him tightly, and Magnus hand is idle over Lestat's left side, fingertips and long nails tenderly touching the curves of Lestat's chest. Magnus twisted black and silver curls tangle as the entire background they're laying on, implying it fills the sarcophagus under them.

Magnus has seated himself comfortably on his bucket now, using it as a stool, and is delightedly laughing at the impatient young horse nudging his hand with her soft face. His velvet fur lined jacket, trimmed at the neck and cuff with fur, parts in the center to show his black tunic. His beard is just long enough to curl and his vampire fangs are visible as he laughs. There's a deep affection in his expression. Being with his sweet horses is one of the best things of his nightly routine.

In the bright oversaturated violet concert lights, Magnus loiters, his posture almost in motion as though he's turned around just then to the viewer. He's wearing 80s fashion, aviators rimmed with white pearls, a blue denim jacket, a black Iron Maiden tshirt of the trooper, and black jeans. His face is calm, somewhat amused and also somewhat dismissive. One hand is in his pocket and his other relaxed at his side. His hair is pulled up in a round bun almost half as wide the top of his head, he has so much curly hair, and even then, long curled strands escape to the front and sides and back of him. He's got neatly trimmed salt and pepper stubble on the lower half of his face.

Lestat touches a soft, passionate kiss to the closed eyelid of Magnus, the one who's transformed him into a vampire. Lestat's skin from his lips down his curved neck to his collarbone's covered in blood, streaks and speckles, it flows gently through his golden hair. His expression's adoring and tender. Magnus' expression subtly smiles with joy, blood covering his chin and neck, lips parted. His fangs are visible. His black curls cling together thickly, pulled by their weight down below Lestat, and a cold stone grey darkens the background.
