Some Book 8 doodling because I Just can't help myself

I made this drawing in Microsoft Paint, to try it out. It has layers! (I only just discovered this.) This drawing took me around an hour to make.

Sketching & Lineart = Pain
Coloring = Joy

The texture it creates hits different.

I think I want to give my logo a bit more texture, because I don't think it suits my art style well. What do you think? Hmmm... maybe I can change the colors. It will be a comedy and fantasy comic, so I hope it fits that atmosphere/vibe.
