Environment Minister Timothy Halman declined to approve EverWind's environmental assessment for its proposed Harbour Hills windfarm in Guysborough County. According to the Department of Environment and Climate Change the registration document "was insufficient to make a decision on the project." EverWind was given a year to provide more studies on the flora and fauna of the development area.
