This is a very important point. We need principles, we need proportionality, we need Disney to set an example here and maybe start the tide turning in another direction.
Re Kimmel, it's important that Disney has left itself an out--it is a "suspension," not a cancellation or firing. What happens in the next two days--reaction within the company but also in the press, in the industry, in Washington, among consumers, and on social media--may affect how this plays out.

Israel massacred a school full of women & children today while they slept and took shelter, the excuse is there were “militants”. However even if true this does not fit with the premise of proportionality. It was a deliberate massacre and needs to be acknowledged as such. You can’t hide it forever.
