Sorry, Floridia. In 2024 we defeated a bill banning local governments from regulating single use plastics, but it's back. HB565 passed its first committee vote. Tell your state reps to stay out of micromanaging & stop kowtowing to lobbyists.

Bright or blight? A slew of laws go into effect in Florida on July 1st. Not a great legislative session for people who love Florida's nature, though there were a couple of bright spots. Usual stuff, pro wealth, anti climate.
