oh fair enough, I can see that. NY Dolls etc. And a lot of other new bands in London at the time got labelled punk but were quite diverse, e.g. Slits, the Clash reggae influence, protogoth Siouxsie, the Police faking it til they made it.

Baby tween protogoth me loved that album. It, and same era Midnight Oil made me environmentalist/anticapitalist more than anything else could in (then) hard red Arizona, and it was my first album that my hard-right, country loving parents would tolerate and came to enjoy.
