I hope the forecasted chilly rain on Saturday is a fluke. There’s nothing more miserable than dealing with busses and heading to a race in the rain. It’s a 10k race too. 🙃 I could fork out for a Lyft but ugh.

It hasn't rained in weeks other than a random thunderstorm the other day. It's raining today of all days. 😭 I have a race in another town, and why can't the rain wait until tomorrow? I scheduled my ride early, & now I'm going to regret it, lol.

I've laid out a multitude of contingency running gear/warmth/layers for tomorrow depending on rain. As of right now, it will be pouring when I head to the bus, but will stop once I'm on it >.<.

I got a Lyft, thank goodness! Did I want to fork out the extra money? No, but I didn't want to miss the race. The bus was running *that* late. It was annoying. But at least with the Lyft, I was warm and didn't have the 20 min walk.

I figured out the best way to avoid wet shoes when I walk to the park & ride. I slipped on a pair of water shoes to prevent the morning dew from soaking my shoes. When I changed into my shoes, I neatly stashed them in a plastic bag in my pack! #Running #PublicTransitProblems #PublicTransit

I wish we had more public transportation options that go up/down the state. It's annoying & too far for uber (awkward/expensive), & god forbid you want to do anything on the weekend. Every time there are surveys about local parks, events, etc, I fill them out. 😂
