My littlest guy. A 0-4-0 switcher from Lionel’s General Mills ownership days. You can see the Pullmore motor and just overall lack of details. This was the Bad Old Days of O-Scale. He’s still kinda cute tho.

I miss Doug Anderson, whose TV roundups, especially of soap operas, bore scant connection to the actual plot lines. Always a pleasure to read about those rascals Sir Monty Carlow-Raleigh and Dr Conrad Pullmore-Cones enjoying a drink in the Tusker Bar of the Hotel Rammer in Zanzibar!

I mean, technically yeah the Pullmore motors in Postwar/early-MPC Lionel diesels were similar sure. But the steamer & diesel mechs were different.

Yet... on Marx all the mechs were the same. Steam, diesel, all the same.

I love how names for things were so descriptive. Pullmore car transporter for example.
