New repository was created for the PC Engine SCSI stuff.
Right now, it just holds the sigrok decoder (working, but doesn't handle mid-command abort yet), and some text.

I'll add the board later - it's currently "just good enough for myself"...

implemented a QSPI analyzer and verified with pulseview that at least the SPI part of it is functional. (i also have unit tests)

I've just updated the pc engine SCSI sigrok repository.
I added "Abort" handling (SEL during a transaction), a bunch more data capture samples, and some descriptions and pictures of interesting points within the samples.

Made some updates to the PCE SCSI logic analysis repository today.

Added a handful of basic captures, which I will continue to add to.

Also added the board design (such as it is), including reasons why you shouldn't make it as-is.

⚡️Using a Cheap USB Logic Analyzer for Embedded Rust Debugging

- A beginner-friendly post on logic analyzers (Rust is a small part of the post).

> Focuses on understanding samples, capture duration, and reading waveforms with PulseView.

i use pulseview for the analysis on my pc, it's open source and has a ps/2 decoder included sigrok.org/wiki/PulseView

Holy shirting forkballs...

That has been tortuous... but at last I appear to have working DMA transfers between VideoBeast and SPI (SD Card etc). This means the chip can self update, load screens (video?!) and save from the host machine to flash.

just got my weird $9 lidar module and yep that's some data I guess

now to figure out how to decode it, and then figure out what to do with it...

Está chulo, tiene cosas que me gustan respecto al analizador lógico chino y pulseview.

🔓 Breaking BitLocker at Black Hat Europe still needs a few more early registrations to happen.

If TPM sniffing, hardware hacking & BitLocker attacks are on your list: now is the time. There may be no later.

Help us get around the workbench! 🔬

One of the cool things about using a Pico as a video scaler device is that you can test your wiring by using the logic analyzer firmware. Of course I screwed up the wiring. #retrocomputing #pc6001

Oh yeah it also does this now, it's like, a totally useable mixed signal logic analyzer (which was the cause of this nonsense and also the reason I've been so quiet for the last month)

I'm mostly complaining because the Saleae software, kinda sucks, which is absurd for such an expensive bit of hardware, and support for the Logic Pro 8 is spotty in sigrok at best.

Also pulseview needs some love as well, and the whole decoder API for sigrok is *awful*

At this point I might just-
