April 13. We may have had some sharp words about these ugly tulips. And the peony tree is underperforming (snap) yet still ravishing. But the pear blossom, and the cherry, and and and and there are also delicate treasures if you pay close attention. #marplesgarden #flowerreport 🌱

Beautiful. So glad you described this as being from last summer. Here near the 45th parallel in MI, it's been snowing all day. I'm seeing all sorts of flower pictures in my feed, but summer blooms are months away. My pushkinia and my neighbor's snowbells are just now blooming. Sigh.

Good morning! Is that a pushkinia? Thank you for the beautiful photo — it really captures the feeling of spring!

In the kitchen garden. I spread more arborist chips. Birds ate all of the Swiss Chard, Turnip, & Lettuce seedlings. Chives are coming up in the border. Mini pot rose (Daniela, maybe) overwintered in the garden, beginning Spring growth. See alt txt #RaisedBeds #KitchenGarden #AccessibleGardening

Scilloides are always the first to bloom, with closed blossoms sometimes visible as they’re exiting the ground. Squill will follow after, but I don’t think I buried those too badly.
