One rapid PzIII done. Being 28mm this will either be quite the focal point in a game or I'll stick a fire/smoke marker on it and use it as terrain. I'm aiming for Barbarossa so burning Panzers seems quite likely

A couple of 1/72 PzIII. These are from S-Models. Very nice plastic kits, that are quick assembly but much more detailed than your normal quick assembly wargame kits. I have a lot of their stuff and I’m impressed. Good value too. Crew figure is from AB.

I think ~300 PzIII and PzIV, another ~300 tanks stolen from the Czechs (great move, Neville) and the rest PzI and PzII, both of which were arguably outclassed by even T-26 and BT-7

Joking aside, when I worked at Warlord (2018-9) I was a fan of early WWII tanks. In Bolt Action, the PzIII was the one German-made tank to have a good (for the time) anti-tank weapon, and Warlord didn’t make that version. We pointed it out to John Stallard once, but still don’t think they do it.

finally finished the Pz.III.M tank girl , it took me nearly a month, most of which was processing the details of the image and coloring.
Panzer.III.M is my favorite type, the spaced armour design is really cool.

I don't read much or watch enough lectures or documentaries these days, too exhausted. But in college, I took a WW2 class to go with my History major, and a big focus in class was the Atlantic campaign, i.e, logistics. Kursk was discussed. The relative merits of the T34 vs. PzIII were not.

Thank you. I looked through Scalemates, but stuck to 1/35th and still missed a Dragon kit of the earlier version without the PzIII cupola.

The arrival of the PzIII saw the Shermans take more losses. The CO tank was lost, followed by the tank troop, leading to a company break and a 7-1 victory.
Tough game. I went maneuvered to avoid a narrow frontage attack but still got one! Some bad Dice but not the driver to the loss.
End.
