I found Q4OS months ago and changed everything over except my desktop so far. When Debian13 arrives in Q4OS I’ll be using it on everything.

Le he metido la skin de XP a Q4os y da el pegó completamente.
Además el inicio es unos segundos más rápido.
Tiene también skyn de Windows 10 y 11, lo cual sería unas risas ponerla en el micro portátil con uno de RAM de hace 15 años.

I'm a fan of classic UIs, so here's a screenshot of my 2015 MBA running Q4OS (a Debian #Linux based distro), with the Trinity DE and a classic theme. As you can see, unlike macOS, it's using only 600MB RAM! So even though my MBA only has 4GB in total, it's still fairly usable in 2025.

I'm a fan of classic UIs, so here's a screenshot of my 2015 MBA running Q4OS (a Debian #Linux based distro), with the Trinity DE and a classic theme. As you can see, unlike macOS, it's using only 600MB RAM! So even though my MBA only has 4GB in total, it's still fairly usable in 2025.

For my weaker old PCs, I like Q4OS with Trinity desktop, it's very XP-like and thus natural and comfortable for me, also Debian-based like Ubuntu/Kubuntu are.
