If White trades on b4, Black will have loose pieces on b4 and e7. Qc5 would attack both targets. But one target defends the other: Nc6. But then Nd5 attacks R on b4 and the e7 square, which would be a fork if not for N on c6...which can be eliminated. So: 1.Rxb4 Rxb4 2.Qc5 Nc6 3.Nd5 Rd4 4.Qxc6.

Just played a fun game against a GM on lichess.
In the position below, things looked really bad.

Solution:
Some people saw that f8Q would be stalemate and suggested f8R instead, but this position cannot be reached with white to play as black would have had no last legal move!
