In November, Diana of Themiscyra went up against the Quakemaster - in the DC Calendar of Super-Disasters 1978.

The Quakemaster uses a pile driver to create a rift in a football field. Diana uses her lasso to save a player, while deflecting chunks of earth with her bracelet.

I get that the Q's in Quakemaster's costume are for Quakemaster (although two really feel like overkill), but what is the T on his forehead for? Does it stand for the tremors you feel when he causes a quake?

Maybe he originally called himself Tremor, then thought that sounded dumb but couldn't replace his forehead logo so doubled down on the Q's. It's a costume that really says, "My name is Trem—Quakemaster! Quakemaster, dammit!"

Again this is setup for No Man's Land so there's that up next but I do wish Cataclysm just focused more on what it started as in the back end rather than some tacked on villain--

I love that they clearly didn’t know Quakemaster was going to be Ventriloquist originally cause he says something like “Gotham will burn” in his first appearance but later Robin figures out who it is because he was avoiding using the Bs that Wesker can’t pronounce.
