Just got the new Windows update - it tried to install, rolled back and decided to completely nuke it's boot manager.
Masterful gambit once again Microsoft, I can see getting Copilot to write update code is once again paying off(!)

For all the shit I give Apple, Microsoft has really proven themselves to be unbelievably shitty at release management. Just installed W11 v24H2, only to Google it and find multiple pages of known issues on release, including corrupting existing installations irretrievably???

The only thing people haven't figured out yet is how to get a 2nd life out of ios devices.
You can use an old Chromebook as a daily driver with Linux Mint on it.
You can daily drive grapheneos. Put the apps that require play into a separate profile.
You can daily drive qubesos. Game on console.

It is! I used it for years to run QubesOS but now its just for testing out different software.
