Imaging the LED makes sense!
I've had a ton of success using Prior's PF850 on my snoutscopes, running in a closed loop with a queensgate piezo. It updates at 1 kHz and you can tune its PID really nicely.
We drive a multi-well plate around at 10s of mm/s for 72 hours with no change of focus.

Ended up voting at Queensgate shopping centre where they are taking non-special votes from six or seven different electorates. There were queues but the wait time wasn’t too bad.

Anyway. THE WEEKEND (Sunday/Monday) was thrown into chaos by the cat developing a limp and having diarrhoea. Obv on Sunday I decided on watchful waiting and went to Pbo to see my sister and there's a new bookshop in Queensgate! Ink & Ember! It looked romance-heavy but all genres covered

Went down to Queensgate (Lower Hutt) and cast my vote. There were a lot of people lined up and the staff were working at top speed to get the voters through. If the early voting is an indication of wanting change we may see an election upset with some tough negotiations after the results come in.
