It also ignores how violence, especially sexual violence, is a much larger systematic issue that we all need to be working to dismantle. That patriarchy extends far beyond just men. That violence is deeply intertwined with imperialism, colonialism, racism, capitalism, ableism, queerphobia, etc.

Also, WRT queerphobia in particular, it appears to have its roots in the Abrahamic religions. There ARE Christian, Jewish, and Muslim people who aren't queerphobic, but the ones who are often justify it along religious grounds. To challenge their bigotry would entail challenging their faith.
