【KAMIHITO Today’s Word 2026.10.2】 ~ Quietly Mending the World ~ As the old saying goes, “Children are mirrors of their parents.” Children grow up by imitating the adults around them just as they see them. The thoughts adults hold, the words they speak, their manners and daily actions, and even the way they live—every move adults make continues to have an immeasurable influence on children’s hearts, without their even realizing it. If we wish for a happy future for children, more than teaching and instructing them with words, we must keep showing them what it means to be good human beings, through how we live our lives. I think that it is precisely the accumulation of these quiet daily practices that, as a result, steadily leads to “the mending of the world.” Mina mina ureshi ureshi tanoshi tanoshi kawaru kawaru arigatai arigatai ai wo itadaki sashiage hirogaru◎ KAMIHITO 拝
