I caught Batty Twist the Zubat, Raspberry the Wooper, and Jupiter the Mareep.
So Crystal has many improvements over Gold, such as more uses for the pokegear and a playable girl. You can't catch Mareep though.
I got 2 phone numbers for the pokegear. 1 can help get Qwilfish

fwiw i think Qwilfish is one of the coolest Johto pokemon and in a mainline game i would be ecstatic about finding one randomly! Hisuian Qwilfish was actually one of my first hunts in PLA

that's a box space i'll never get back since i would never delete a shiny, can't transfer it out, and can't exactly use it… unless someone wants to tell me that Qwilfish is actually the sleeper goat of singles
