Oh no not a POTENTIAL REEVALUATION
The Biden administration told Israeli government officials that if they did not improve humanitarian conditions in Gaza within 30 days, the U.S. would reevaluate its military support, which has flowed largely without pause for more than a year.
Blinken to Israel: Allow More Aid Into Gaza or Face the Consequences
The stern letter from the secretary of state and the Pentagon comes amid the worst month for relief efforts since the war began. ProPublica previously reported Blinken had earlier rejected findings th...

After reevaluation of CAVEAT i will be there day one for any horror movie Damian McCarthy makes.
Here's a new look at Adam Scott in HOKUM, the latest nightmare from Oddity director Damian McCarthy set to release in theaters on May 1, 2026.

A horror novelist visits a remote Irish inn to spread his parents’ ashes, unaware the place is rumored to be haunted by a witch.

To clarify. This doesn’t impact the games operation and the current roadmap is still the plan

NetEase started its reevaluation last year, leading to funding being pulled / closures of studios in Japan and the US. The reevaluation, which is still ongoing, is being undertaken for multiple reasons.

I have been doing a lot of critical reevaluation of Roman and medieval historians recently because I am living through the kind of end to an autocratic regime that very sober, serious modern historians have footnoted with phrases like "an unreliable account from a hostile chronicler."
i will repeat that i think the reflecting pool debacle might actually kill him, he’s losing his mind over it
Trump: “Here is another example of a crazy pro-algae (likely paid) protestor.

The sign says, ‘First they came for the algae…’ which is in reference to a famous post-WW2 statement about Germans not speaking out against Nazis

‘…Then they came for the Jews, & I did not speak out—bc I was not a Jew “

one of the most bizarre things i have read in my life is the readings of Civil War which criticize it for not saying who the good guys are

in every election cycle over the last decade a chait or someone similar writes a piece about how republicans are marching to victory with the latest round of attacks on trans people and every election cycle the attacks flops and republicans lose ground. and yet there's no reevaluation. interesting.
Jonathan Chait is too chickenshit to write the case against trans rights and provide evidence for his argument so he keeps writing it up as a horse-race election story

I'm doing something incorrectly in art.

it's good that manhunter has gotten a critical reevaluation (upward) but it's silly revanchist nonsense that silence of the lambs is also getting a critical reevaluation (downward)

I don't think the sequel trilogy will garner so much nostalgic reevaluation like the prequel trilogy has gotten, but the bad guys just returning and most people being unable or unwilling to do anything about it hits a little too close to home.

"putin is fucking insane" is something a lot of american chin-stroking think-tank/academic and beltway types don't really want to reckon with for any number of reasons (not least of all it would require a massive reevaluation of the last 30 years of their work)

unfortunately, it remains true
He also wants to conquer it for objectively bizarre, genocidal, and cranky old man reasons, and increasingly because his power-base depends on the wartime footing of Russia, but also he's saying these things out loud because he actually believes them, even if they sound insane and genocidal.
