RE2make (i hate calling it that) is such a cool way to revisit that game. People were disappointed with R3make (augh) but Nemesis wasn't a 10/10 classic to begin with, so you couldn't really have a remake of it come off as transformative but reverential in the same way.

I'm not mad, at REmake 2, it's worse at some things I deeply care about in 2. I OG it makes sense why Leon cares about Sherry enough to not splatter himself, but REmake Leon barely knows her. R3make does a disservice to both Nemesis and Jill look bad by having her be saved by men so much.

I don't think I'll ever stop being mad about R3Make. Jill hadn't been in a game proper since RE5. This was the opportunity to show a new generation of RE fans why she's such a beloved character and then they have a bug cum in her mouth within an hour of gameplay.

R3make isn't a bad game in and of itself, but it is disappointing when placed next to the original.

I didn't love R3make on my first playthrough but each subsequent one gets better and better. I think its one of the upper tier RE games.

It really should have been Jill in RE9. Having Leon there just felt like Capcom trying to force this "Leon trilogy" idea with the remakes of 2 and 4, capitalising on him being the most popular character. Even moreso as a few things in RE9 feel like a direct apology for R3make.

I have to say Chris because he’s such a gay icon, and his RE5 design was basically a gay porn miracle. (My fav RE character for sure.)
But R3make Carlos is also so incredibly beautiful.
They’re definitely the top 2 hottest RE characters. I would faint if they co-star in a game in the future.

I kinda miss the "Resident Evil Pac-Man" vibe Mr. X gave in REMake2, but Nemesis is just too fast and aggressive for that game feel. Overall, I liked the feel and pacing of R3Make. It's different, but it's still just as fun as it is.

They still keep Leon flirting with everyone women he knows, I don't remember R3make very well but I do think they kept Carlos' flirting as well but that could just be that he was very charming. So I can see that staying but I think they'll definitely Ax a good bit of CV if they do remake it.
