A digital illustration of Blazar, an alien dog character from my series, Ruby and the Heronauts. He is walking through a forest and is staring directly as a butterfly that landed on his nose.

Strange alien herbivore that bears an uncanny resemblance to an Earth Tullimonstrum (this totally has nothing to do with RATHN I swear)

What if I started making random characters that inhabit the RATHN universe as a way to expand it and also as an excuse to get back into making OCs even though they probably won't connect to the main story in any way

Through thick and thin, whatever comes their way, they'll always have each other's backs. Happy birthday to Ruby and Blazar, the bestest of friends in this weird, wide universe ❤️💜

A simple line art doodle of a catgirl named Ruby and an alien dog named Blazar. Ruby is kneeling down and rubbing the underside of Blazar's neck while Blazar licks Ruby's face. Ruby's line art is in dark red while Blazar's line art is in dark purple.

Can someone in the hypothetical RATHN fandom do me a massive favour and make a really high quality edit of Demoman TF2 laughing at Ruby if I ever do a scene of her crying? Thanks xoxo

Felt inspired to redesign two villains from #RATHN, Mecha Ruby and Empress Xantara. Didn't wanna make this super detailed but let me know what y'all think

Also, there's some lore in the alt text! Enjoy :3c
A flat colour digital illustation of two villain characters from my webcomic/animated series, Ruby and the Heronauts. On the left is Mecha Ruby, a robotic doppelganger of Ruby from the far-off year of 2999, sent back in time to the 26th century by a mysterious perpetrator to kill the organic Ruby for unknown reasons. She is equipped with two hard-light blades on her arm and the tip of her tail, a hard-light shield and two jet-like propulsors for flight. To the right is Empress Xantara, a ruthless intergalactic dictator and ruler of the Vocronian Empire. A long time ago, her home planet of Vocronia was destroyed by heavy pollution and eventually a powerful solar flare, and in the story of RATHN, she is determined to conquer an Earth-like planet in the Intergalactic Union known as Apporia (the planet where Ruby and her friends live) and declare it as the sovereign planetary nation of New Vocronia. She is equipped with a Vocronium laser pistol on one thigh holster and a baton-like weapon on the other thigh holster.

She's hot in pink. It's Ruby, the first member of the Heronauts! Though she may be cockily overconfident and loud at times, she's very outgoing and always puts others over herself... to a self-neglectful degree. 😿

A female character named Ruby, the central protagonist of Ruby and the Heronauts. She is a slim catgirl with pink hair, pink ears, a pink tail, white skin, emerald-green eyes and a heart-shaped pink hair tuft. She is wearing a white a muted pink hoodie, blue jean short shorts, white knee-high socks with muted pink stripes and magenta-red trainers. The background is white with the word "RUBY" in a bold font stacked several times. The text alternates between darker and lighter shades of magenta-red and pink but it is cut off close to the bottom with a white gradient.

Hmm… how would you guys feel if I made RATHN into a webcomic first before eventually making it into an animated series?

That was my plan for it initially before it became too ambitious, but I’m thinking it could make waiting for an animated version less painful for y’all

Behold, Empress Xantara! The tyrannical ruler of the Vocronians, an endangered alien race seeking a new home for their empire

She has her eyes set on the Intergalactic Union. Will Ruby and her friends be able to stop her?

#OC #ArtistOnBluesky #RATHN #RubyAndTheHeronauts @rubyheronauts.bsky.social
An alien empress known as Xantara. She has a strongfat physique with muscular arms, a large round belly and breasts, wide hips and thick thighs. Her skin is a greenish-teal with an underbelly and spots coloured red. She has fiery-red spiky hair going outwards to the left and right of her head, as well as a small pair of greenish-teal-coloured antennae with red spots on the tips. Her hair is covering up the right side of her head, making only her left eye visible. Her eye is coloured orange and yellow and she has a wide, malicious and toothy grin with a bit of her purple gums visible at the top right corner of her mouth. She also has a small greenish-teal tail behind her with the same red spots and underbelly. She is wearing a brownish-red leotard/vest with orangey-gold strips and a fiery-red cape. She is also wearing cloves and a pair of high heel boots with the same colours and features, minus the red cape colours. Her vest also has a large, spiked collar, just barely visible behind her head. She is standing triumphantly on top of a metallic platform with an army of troopers behind her, all of them wearing helmets with built-in goggles, armoured vests fastened with belts, shoulder pads and elbow pads. She has her right fist resting on her hip, and in her left hand, she is holding a small metallic laser pistol with a small red energy vial inserted into it. There are two red and gold banners on either side at the top of the image displaying the emblem for the Vocronian Empire. At the top centre of the image are two pieces of red text that slightly overlap each other. The text reads “Empress Xantara”.

An icon/avatar/heashot illustration of Ruby from my indie webcomic/animated series, Ruby and the Heronauts. She is smiling at the viewer with a determined look on her face. She is wearing her Heronaut armour, which is white in colour with pinkish-red accents, and is standing in a sort of action pose with her pink hair and tail flowing and her arms spread out. Her left shoulder pad is glowing a bright pink, illuminating her face. She is put against a mangenta/red space background with a bright sun/star out of frame in the top right corner, illuminating her from behind.

Make way for Bruce! The fourth member of the Heronauts, and certainly the strongest and most spider-like 💪🕷️

#Art #OC #ArtistOnBluesky #DigitalArt #OCArt #RATHN #RubyAndTheHeronauts @rubyheronauts.bsky.social
A male character from Ruby and the Heronauts named Bruce. He is a wide and muscular spider-like alien with four arms, two pairs of eyes (the upper ones almost acting like eyebrows), a pair of mandibles, two legs (made up of four legs which are fused into two), a small abdomen and yellow fur with orange stripes. He is wearing a white tank-top with a yellow and orange pattern on the front, as well as a pair of orange joggers with blue accents. He has his mouth open with a determined look on his face. He is striking a pose where he is leaning forward while flexing his right upper arm and placing his left lower hand on the ground to stabilise himself as if to knuckle walk. His hands have three fingers each. The background is white with the word "BRUCE" in a bold font stacked three times. One of the texts is orange while the other two are yellow.

Decided to delete the dedicated Bsky accounts for RATHN and Inconvenienced

Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to seeing content from them but I just think they'll both do a lot better here publicity-wise as opposed to on their own dedicated pages

Hope that's alright with y'all

I think I might've just figured out some internal conflict Ruby could go through at some point in the story of RATHN... maybe even how she could resolve it and how that ties into the conclusion of the series 👀
