The RCP/LM lot have certainly played a significant role in pushing transphobia among the media and political establishment. Would be interesting to see George dig into that and reflect on how even he hasn't been immune to eg the laundering of Cass's report as objective and evidence based

RCP 8.5 is considered no longer an accurate projection because climate trends have changed for the better in the past 15 years. It was based on a scenario in which trends continue as they had been when it was drafted. Action was taken and conditions improved. That doesn't mean it was wrong.

There are various problems here. Recoverable reserves are not a meaningful estimate of how much coal could be extracted.
