In my accepted paper for WEBIST, I propose adding several attributes to complete the idea. It's basically RDFa with some tactical additions to make it make sense for agents.

it’s probably not a great sign that the official W3C RDFa test suite has contained syntactically-invalid files for 7 years and no one has noticed/complained

If you're an #atprotodev I'd love your thoughts on this short proposal. I think we'd all benefit from a way to tag our HTML to reference the at:// uris they're derived from!

@popfeed.social, @bookhive.buzz, @sifa.id, @leaflet.pub, @pckt.blog, @offprint.app and many more — penny for your thoughts?
Atproto markup for HTML

New microblog post: Why I choose Microdata seirdy.one/notes/2024/1...

An explanation of why I rejected RDFa-Core, RDFa-Lite, and inline JSON-LD on seirdy.one and stuck with Microdata instead. #microdata #rdfa #SemanticWeb #HTML
Why I choose Microdata
The four most popular ways to use RDF-based metadata on websites are RDFa-Core, RDFa-Lite, Microdata, and inline JSON-LD. I can’t use RDFa-Lite because I need

in other words i could just sponge the concept scheme off the page because that is a thing you can do with rdfa

fuck yeah FAIR data* lol

Sorry. You'll RDFa that around somewhere, some other game.

"First, the good news. Your product's UI already has a context-managed, RDFa-like specification and retrieval mechanism for collection views, object views, and object editing.

The bad news: Your team has implemented this six different times, in six different incompatible ways."

Okay! So I added RDFa resource tags to my Slay the Spire 2 atproto app; elements on the page now point to their AT URI counterparts!

I may try and build a browser extension that highlights these more naturally for atproto tomorrow!

- other customizable HTML meta (global and per article; Schema.org, RDFa, IndieWeb, OG, and the rest of the important ones; useful also for adding claim/verification meta and other rel=)

- custom fonts (for those who like it; could be simply naming the font and it pulls from various font repos)

ever since i started really using rdfa (god, coming up on like 16 years now) i use almost no css classes anymore lol

I'd greatly prefer HTML Microdata with `<link itemprop=… rel=alternate href=…>` over RDFa, personally.

It seems to be more flexible regarding page structure and multiples (and from what I can tell is more widely used), while RDFa at a glance seems to not mesh as well with clean semantic HTML.

so what i *want* is an editor that can express the full gamut of html+rdfa semantics but that jacks into my knowledge graph so that i can both pull from and populate it while i'm writing, because *that* is the bottleneck i'm experiencing
