💯 Just read today that non-pharmaceutical protective interventions (lockdowns, masks, social distancing) saved 850K lives. RFK, JayB, VinayP & other disinfo spreaders advocated for herd immunity via infections, early unmasking & reopening.

My newest paper uses reductions in influenza mortality at the state level during the pandemic as an indicator of the effectiveness of NPI's. The resulting model predicts 66% of variability in COVID mortality and suggests that NPI's save 850,000 lives.
