The balancing of enemies is also neat because what do you mean Larxene went down on the first try in CoM but took me five separate tries in Re:CoM.

I managed this first try on Proud, which I wasn't expecting! But I've beat Re:COM on proud and KH2 on critical so it makes sense

Easily Re:CoM and Dream Drop. Other platinums may have their difficulties, but nothing beats the sheer boredom of getting Riku to lvl 100 and clearing all the dream eater ability boards.

and then afterwards, while ansem still sought to manipulate and drag riku down, it was ansem the wise who almost certainly contributed to riku's horrific mental state over 358/2 days, even though at the end of re:com riku was hopeful and determined

dont get it twisted obviously riku has a beautiful and incredible character arc in re:com but it isnt about him rejecting his darkness and is in fact about him working through that self-doubt and hatred (see: repliku and their parallel arcs)

The combat in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is so good omg. They took the best of KH2 and Re:COM with lots of completionisty bits

oogie boogie was a slog in KH1, but he's really fun to fight in Re:CoM. It's so cool anticipating his moves and card breaking them constantly, very methodical.

Re:CoM Reverse/Rebirth completed, honestly I had more fun with this mode than the main story, and it felt a lot easier too overall.

Re:CoM without a doubt. Asking for every single card as Sora, and leveling two complete playthroughs of a game that you can finish before reaching level 50 when there's **no** endgame content at all of any kind is insane to me.

I did BBS and enjoyed it, and while Re:CoM is heinous for the Riku LV 100 grind, I never got and will likely never get KH2's platinum because of the Gummi trophies. It's a truly ridiculous number of same-y missions. I enjoy the LV3 missions, but forcing the lower levels and EX ones is inexcusable
