Rhodesia and later apartheid South Africa backed counterrevolutionary proxy forces fighting the FRELIMO government. The proxy group RENAMO was created by Rhodesia’s intelligence services and armed by them, and was later armed and backed by apartheid South Africa.

#lalapril 2026 — Day 6 : Bite
There are many reasons why Renamo came to vastly prefer Fairies to Carbuncles, not the least of which being a persistent problem of nibbled hands...

A young (18) year old Renamo with his first Carbuncle, Munchy. He's being overseen by Thubyrgeim of the Arcanist's Guild, with her commenting "Quite impressive for a first attempt!" while Renamo pets the newly summoned Carbuncle saying "Aren't you just the cutest!". He's at the top of a set of stairs, while Thubyrgeim sits over the edge of the lower steps.

A zoomed in shot of Munchy, with drawn on angry eyebrows, biting Renamo's index and middle finger. A single text line with "¡Crunch!" floats below where Renamo's poor fingers are being munched.

"And quite spirited besides..." Thubyrgeim chuckles, watching while Renamo struggles with his Carbuncle, Munchy now up on his hind legs to follow his hand as it tries to pull away. He's growling while Renamo repeats "Ow!" and tells him to "Let go already!".

Ophelia is a NB Polyam and Hydaelyn's favorite sacrificial lamb, and very young compared to her peers (15-22)
Renamo is a trans man who had to spend decades of his life grappling with that and finding who HE is in that process. He's a father too! (26-33)

Magical expertise, political intrigue, and tactical genius are the tools of a well balanced repertoire. Of course, a big enough hammer and the stubbornness of an aurochs can solve just as many problems.

Renamo and Giott posed dramatically with their weapons drawn. Renamo has Demi-Ozma along with the Scholar, Blue Mage, and Black Mage Job Stones behind him. Giott has the Indomitable and a Rolling Tankard behind them, along with the Warrior and White Mage Job Stones.

An all too common occurrence for Renamo, a routine hunt has devolved into something much, much worse courtesy of a loud insult or three. Four on a good day. The fifth's great when you're running away!

Renamo, a lalafell with coral pink hair, is dragging Giott by the back of their "beard" while they flip off a monster. He's terrified! Giott's not.

#lalapril 2026 — Day 8 : Patience
"It will get better, little one. I promise."

Renamo, a Plainsfolk Lalafell, talking to his younger self with a timeline of his transition in the background behind them.
First is before leaving home, where he has shoulder length coral pink hair with a headband holding it back, with a bulky white dress that also has coral accents. He's praying with his eyes closed, seemingly in distress.

Next, the smallest in the background, is Renamo not long before the Calamity, with his hair cut very short in its now usual redder tone of coral. He's wearing a short blue robe over dark slacks, and looks on edge or otherwise uncomfortable.

After is him two years after the Calamity, wearing a medium blue open coat with a checkered scarf and gray slacks. Unlike his previous self, he seems much more happy and open, with a finger raised and a smile on his face. His hair's pulled back into a simple ponytail, and his face looks more like his older self, with a somewhat more defined jaws and melanin darkening his ears.

He's followed by ARR Renamo, wearing a crimson bliaud and the long black boots of the Maelstrom. Unlike before, he seems unsure of himself again, owing to giving up his spot at the Arcanist's Guild for adventuring. His hair's cut short once again, and he's stood with an arm raised to shield his eyes from the sun.

Last in the background is Renamo's HW/StB self, having regained his composure and popping his collar with a confident smirk. His hair's now in it's current side part, with him wearing a crimson Scholar's Gown paired with Maelstrom Officer's boots.

Finally, there's Renamo's current self. He has a consoling look on his face, hand outstretched while he talk to his past self. He's wearing a dark green short sleeved coat, over a dark blue undershirt.
