Excellent, can wait to try it. Already have it on my TrimUi Brick, Miyoo A30, and Miyoo Flip. Want to now run it on my RG35xxH and the RGcubeXX, all off the same SD card. Gave it a shot a few weeks ago and it wouldn’t boot on the cube.

I’m fully expecting a Switch release at some point but screw it, gonna casually Emerald hunt anyway. Doing the starter here for button mapping (fixed RNG) before I move it to cartridge.

Anbernic RGCubeXX is the thing I've got. Cost about £60 all in. Does everything up to PS1 flawlessly www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011...

I have a wired SF pad clone which is great. But I'm really pondering getting an 8bitdo M30... :)
In the meantime, I also have a RGCubeXX with its Sega d-pad but it lacks 2 buttons... 😅

Handheld systems and Pico-8 are exceptional on the cube!
There is a method to overscalling 4:3 content at 8:7 (I think) to fill the screen that RetroGameCorps talks about on YouTube.
Alternatively, you can use bezels/overlays to fill empty space on the screen. I learned how to make my own.

Ohh! I already have this hack, but I'm grabbing the update. I love playing this on my RGCUBEXX.

Anbernic RGCubeXX. My wrists needed an emulator lighter than a Steam Deck and it’s doing the trick for lightweight stuff at least.

I'm glad you like the AYN Thor!
Been meaning to get one myself. Currently I've got an Anbernic RGCubeXX that's actually really good for Pico-8. However, I must've messed something up with my firmware change and the battery doesn't stay charged long anymore. Whoops.

If you're going to larp about the Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen situation, at least be professional and edit your save to look legit

Yeah, if you're new to emulator consoles Anbernic is your best early introduction. With RGCubeXX being the Goldilocks model and the new RG DS being the cheapest dual screen on the market that plays DS well and can play a majority of 3DS titles except really heavy ones.

While I've hyped up the Anbernic RG DS, I opted not to get it.
Why?
My RGCubeXX already runs up to PS1. If I'm gonna get something that runs DS and 3DS, I'd want it to emulate up to Switch too. The RG DS can't do that, but the AYN Thor can.
