Random internet page says 13,520 mi in RI (Wikipedia says only 1650 managed by RIDOT). Gonna check that in GIS. NY state report from 2011 says 6088 mi in NYC, 5844 managed by the city. Providence is 475 mi, 57 managed by the state.

What a shock--RIDOT car-sewers dominate. Even #2 Empire & Washington doesn't technically count as RIDOT, but it's entirely because it feeds from the interstate and RIDOT's feeder intersection of Broadway shooting drivers toward Washington on Empire at high speed still in freeway-brain.

TRAFFIC ALERT: A crash on the Newport Pell Bridge is causing heavy backups on Route 138.
A lot has to do with the debacle involving the closure of the westbound Washington Bridge carrying traffic on I-195 west. McKee and his former head of RIDOT handled it very poorly. Doesn’t matter what side of the political spectrum a voter is on if they’re sitting in traffic jams on a daily basis.

This intersection isn't even located in RIDOT's jurisdiction. I assumed that RIDOT maintains Smithfield Ave. since it's part of RI-126 but apparently they don't!!
