My local Joann Fabrics is 1 of the last open, I guess. It's getting shipments from stores already closed. It now has 3 yarn sections, aisles & aisles of bright, beautiful skeins (50% off.) Just bittersweet heaven. Wish I had a couple thousand $ to blow and a storage shed. #ripjoann #crochet #yarnart

My local Joann Fabrics is 1 of the last open, I guess. It's getting shipments from stores already closed. It now has 3 yarn sections, aisles & aisles of bright, beautiful skeins (50% off.) “Sewing your own clothes to avoid tariffs” seems like a good idea until you realize it’s very expensive, takes a ton of time, and just about every component — from fabric and thread to sewing machines — are made abroad. I do think this is a great time to learn how to mend clothes, though!
