Unfortunately (IMO) Slotkin paved the way for a Rogers-as-moderate narrative by practically running a practically single-issue Roevember campaign as if 2024 was 2022. Come debate night it became obvious Slotkin had been overstating Rogers' level of "pro life" extremism.
