....so like I'm obsessed with Reign of the Seven Spellblades...I watch all 15 episodes today...and I am so pissed...why those 2???? Whyyy...why must I have favorite characters for them to do that to me. Anyway..I'm gonna see if the artist in me wants to attempt a tryptch for RotSS.

I do like it. Its like a 2.5 or 3 out of 5 for me. I dont know that FF and ROTSS are necessarily better, but they have more personality and in terms of voice 3 of the 4 characters feel true to Lee-Kirby. Also Ben turning back to the Thing in FF had more emotional weight than First Steps' climax.

The film could be decent, as long as it's better than the garbage that was the Roger Corman movie, 2005, & RotSS.

Would Fox have tried to make that second batch of Fantastic Four films? Yeah, mock them all you want (screw you, I like RotSS) but they made money and told Hollywood that superhero films were worth making.

I can’t say it looks “bad”. Everything in it is exactly what you expect from a competent big budget redo of ROTSS.
The casting is the only interesting thing about it.

There are bits of RotSS that I like but they're almost entirely Surfer related. His stuff is surprisingly good for 2007.
