I’m slowly learning godot while using RPGM for a personal project of mine and I stgoddess the sheer amount of dudes using GenAI in their RPGM games they they’re charging money for makes me feel no shame whatsoever for my amateurish art. A lot of them use the default RPGM systems without doing anything to tweak/diversify, so you might as well scam it out and get to the recollection room.

This is legitimaly heartbreaking.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that I would have never considered a career in digital art if it wasn't the friends and experiences I made navigating RPGM foruns as a teen.

RPG Maker forums are being shutdown, no plans for even keeping them in read-only, priceless information/help that has been accumulating over years will be gone. "Want it? just make a backup".
