Added options for the gold statues. Along with freeing them via the Gold Melter item (which you get from mummies and sarcophagus enemies), you can also sell the statues to the Limvaria art gallery.

You will need to buy them back at a raised price.

Hallöchen! Ich hoffe, ihr hattet gestern ein schönes Halloween, falls ihr weches gefeiert habt. Der Oktober war wieder einmal ziemlich voll – und begann direkt mit einer Erkenntnis, die mich mittlerweile selbst etwas wahnsinnig macht: Ich habe erneut den Anfang von DSDS geändert 😂 Projekt "DSDS" Ja. Schon wieder. Ende September hatte ich erneut das Gefühl, dass sich der bisherige Anfang des Spiels einfach nicht richtig anfühlt.

I finally got off my butt and designed this town. It's the last town I need to make before concentrating on the dungeons/cutscene maps.

The town is loosely based on Timbuktu. There's not a whole lot of African tilesets so I had to improvise.

Quite proud of how this came out! The second half of the Scorched Sands dungeon is going to be focused on gold petrification traps. Standing on these gold tiles when the screen flashes will result in your party member being turned into a statue!

RPG Maker Cook Tool Deluxe R6.07 Update 1 released!
Added JPEG XL for compressing images (requires NW.js 0.118 or newer). JPEG XL has about the same feature set as WebP, while bringing better compression (and its encoder is very fast, so build times are faster too). Switched to RE:Dox for handling JSON files, improving performance. Updated to .NET 11 (RC2), bringing performance and stability improvements. Dependencies are updated as well. Slight memory usage improvements. Download it here.
