Everyone loves saying "just emulate it" but they get real quiet when you show them shit like MGS Peace Walker HD having a bizarre bug on RPSC3 where it never recognizes what unit or items you have equipped, rendering the game uncompletable.

Or Armored Core V/VD being entirely unplayable.

It's funny, my copy of RPSC3 has exclusively been used to play games I already own. I have a copy of Demon's Souls. But the real copy I 'own' is the one sitting on my NAS, because that one will work for what is likely the rest of my life, regardless of what sony does and how many old PS3s drop dead.

save states on rpsc3 are not great but they work

had a realization
(trying to open a lobby in RPCSN crashes the game)

I keep seeing people clamoring that arm64 being supported by RPSC3 means Android phones will run it.

Did those people even read the blog post? They literally said they don't want to port to Android since people are toxic (see: why AetherSX2 stopped development)

I've been trying to compile RPSC3 for ARM64 on Windows for the past like 4 hours and I haven't been able to do.

I compiled RPSC3 and now it uses the oryon-1 LLVM compiler instead of the Cortex A78 one.

I have no idea what benefits that brings because when I tried running it the Vulkan API kept complaining about running out of memory.

I should stop checking twitter, there's people arguing with each that Android is better than iOS because they saw a I think Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 that was modified to run PostMarketOS (I am guessing) means that they'll get to run RPSC3 and they said it's gonna run when you install Linux noooooooo aaauagh

[I'm in your mind, I'm in your brain] PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT EMULATE IT ON RPSC3 AND LOVE WHAT I LOVE

hating RPSC3 makes no sense, if there's anything to hate its Sony for building a needlessly complex and difficult to understand architecture for the PS3

Rpsc3 no queda otra hammer.

i played heavenly sword for the first time with rpsc3 and jesus christ that game aged like milk. it's genuinely visually ugly, slow, unresponsive and the combat is unbelivably one-note. how the hell did this get praise at the time?

JEALOUS it’s on my shortlist for weird games to collect, I’ve been meaning to play it since I found out it runs in rpsc3 at least

There are fan servers helping keep LBP afloat, I personally like LBP Bonsai which is rebranding, and the other is LBP Union! Works for hacked PS3's and RPSC3 (The PS3 Emulator)!

Pain to setup, but worth to keep the dream alive!

corriste todos los ratchet and clank en el rpsc3?

Apparently there's an alternative Qt installer that works by using mirrors to find the version you want, avoiding creating a Qt account, so I used it and I'll try to compile RPSC3 for Windows.

Did you try overwriting the CPU scheduler in RPSC3's setting?
July 6, 2026 at 5:45 PM
finally got around to playing spider-man shattered dimensions for the first time via rpsc3
it’s a blast so far, almost like a successor to the neversoft game + enter electro in terms of structure and gameplay while also doing it’s own things

They are. In order to play GT6 Online you need modded PS3, it can't be played on RPSC3
August 21, 2025 at 6:34 PM
ANYWAYS I believed RPSC3 crashes 9/10 everytime you synth, but I just managed to make 5 items in a row before it instantly crashed after the 6th.

I bet it's because I accidently didn't choose Saki's item name suggestion, which. fair. :(
