On 01 Aug SFS Il-96 CAMBER RA-96023 RSD500 took off from Moscow (VKO) and flew to Algiers DZA. It took off on 02 Aug with tracking dropping almost immediately. It was not tracked again until several hours later heading south over BRA. I suspect Brasilia is its destination.

SFS SS100 RA-89040 RSD500 landed at K-Grad (KGD) and is scheduled to return to Moscow later today. RusJet Bombardier Global 6000 RA-73528 also flew from Moscow (VKO) to K-Grad this morning and is scheduled to fly back to Moscow later.

After flying to Brasilia BRA on 02 Aug, on 05 Aug SFS Il-96 CAMBER RA-96023 RSD500 flew to Rio de Janeiro. It departed on 07 Aug and after a stop at Algiers DZA it is likely en route back to Moscow.

RA-96025 is now being joined by Il-96PU Airborne Command Post RA-96021 RSD121. This is beginning to look more like Putin is on the move. One possible guess for a destination: On 15 Sep SFS Il-96 RA-96018 RSD500 flew to Hanoi VNM and it could have been the Advon team for Putin.
