With a sunny day forecast it was an ideal opportunity for Kev and I to visit @RSPBMiddleton to try for a lesser spotted woodpecker, having dipped at Acres Down. We were rewarded with great views and lots of drumming from this and another bird @birdguides.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social.
