100ms recompiles on save, by the time my eyes move from Emacs to pdf viewer it's already updated. I'm literally too slow to even see it update.
Also, this is why escape now maps to save. Saving allll the time. And Lshift-># (alongside much older Rshift->$).

Unrelated to mim itself, but this is also the first preprint I've prepared in @typst.app rather than LaTeX. It was soooo much nicer. Folks; what are we doing? Why don't our journals accept manuscript sources in Typst!
Ok; mim (github.com/COMBINE-lab/...) preprint submitted! Excited for folks to see it and share thoughts. The key takeaway; mim allows the quick, one-time, building of a small auxiliary index that then allows scaling gzipped FASTQ parsing linearly in # of threads. 1/2

I think odds and evens has least overhead.
We'll need a double Inc to step through the freq registers, but once we've got that it's rshift+or to get to the octaves, and if we hold repeated nibbles in the lut then we can bit check 0 and mask appropriately.

The SID is gold standard - everything is at a single offset. What ever you wanna do to a voice, just add 7 to do it to the next voice.
The SAA... byte offset for voice and freq, except the octave is on nibbles, enables on bits, all on different offsets from each other...🙄 I NEED TO SEE THE PATTERN

En del av programmeringen jeg aldri blir komfortabel med er ergonomien når man skal skrive alle spesialtegnene, hvordan løser andre dette?? For meg er spesielt ; og _ helt jævlige å skrive, holder typis ned RShift med tommelen og trykker på tegnet med pekefingeren på samme hånd...

windows treats modifier state as unified , e.g. here both shift keys, but will only send one keyup when the last is released. you can call getkeystate for vk_lshit and rshift on every shift event (keyup, down, syskeyup, etc) like

・ 60％,65%はSpit Backspace 信者だったけどAliceに関しては通常のBackSpaceにしても良いかも
・ 同じようにRShiftもSpritさせなくても良い
・ 分割Space採用で、右親指の仕事を増やそうとKeymapを考えて採用したけど、打鍵の矯正は中々難しい…

I have ctrl and alt on the outer thumb buttons (inner buttons are backspace on the left and space on the right... Not sure why since I almost always use the combo for backspace lol), but I also needed win/cmd options, so those are on z+s and l+/ (also I was off-by-one on rshift before, it's .+/ )

took me about 4 hours today with a multimeter, bit of foam, ruler and a heavy thing. Pretty sure there aren't any diodes for rollover.
