That explains a lot.
I use my Radtel RT950Pro for portable SWL and my 10Khz/12Bit RSP1 with a crappy short extendable whip on my roof at home. Specially on the beginning of the nights I get quite strong signals on 49,41,31,25 and 22 Meters.
I now hope that an electronic mini-whip do a better work...

Me too... I have 3... One Radtel RT950Pro a Baofeng Mini UV5R and a GT5R... But ro be honest I only really use the Radtel... Now I'm more focused on buying a proper HF radio even if it is an old one 10-160 meters radio... Meanwhile I'm operating on 11 Meters doing loads of DX contacts...
