I need to replay some Kirby with World Beyond on the way honestly...
Forgotten Land feels like the obvious one but I feel I should replay the whole Switch era of Kirby (Star Allies, RtDDX, the little Multiplayer games, etc)
might make for a fun stream marathon next month

It's sad that in RtDDX they didn't acknowledge him after Dream Buffet

Thinking about the possibilities with Nintendo’s game share on Switch 2 and the possibilities of being able to share games online,
My first thought was ARMS cause that seems like the perfect second wind for that game.
Also Kirby RTDDX because that game not having online is still baffling to me

Honestly I still think there’s a chance we get S2 editions for 3DX and 4 (not 1+2), but they’re just coming later. There’s still a number of games that aren’t on this list that feel like this should get updates: Smash Ult, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Metroid Dread, Mario Wonder, Kirby RtDDX

Plush Squad Day 88: Bagolor
Long story short, I had accidentally gotten two interdimensional Magolor plushies, so I left one of them wrapped in its bag.
Poor guy is still trapped to this day 😅

I'll have time later since I thankfully have another short shift at the retail factory today, but I am leaning towards RTDDX because remembering TTYD Remake makes things slower through changes in text/action speed is a serious debuffer to me

oh and the original Kirby Adventure too, which is still up there as one of my favorites in the whole series, I think it's right after RtDDX and Triple Deluxe.

Just realized RTDDX is a lot easier to emulate and TTYDR has a better deal ($30 vs $40) so that settles it lol

original idea for a cosplay and I explained what the original idea was and where it came from and went back to 2023 when RtDDX came out on switch.
Then I went on explaining what I’d do on stream from now on and what I’d do off-stream in preparation, which brought me to me wanting to do art, but

...assuming they're even still in business. reaching out to individual composers might be difficult as well. its apparently not uncommon for for-hire composers to forget what they did or didn't write after sufficient time has passed. i remember being annoyed when in kirby's rtddx (cont'd)

Piggybacking off this somewhat, RTDDX is better than Forgotten Land, but I personally like Forgotten Land more for how creative it was
My hot take of the day is that I like this more than forgotten land
Genuinely filled with so much polish and an insane amount of content you can’t go wrong with it !! Pick it up!!

Heads up everyone, for all our friends in America who happen to be near a Walmart, we found Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe for only $29 today! Check your local store when you can! Prices may vary! 👀

This is trauma dumping but I beat RTDDX the day my puppy Zero tragically died. Somehow, I really do NOT have any kind of bad association between the game and what happened. I played through the Epilogue a few days later and it felt very healing.

I continue to be very attracted to Magolor, in complete seriousness, despite not really being a fan of kirby games. I played RTDDX because I really wanted to kick his ass. And it was great.

I have played a total of 4 Kirby games in their entirety and have played 1 other Kirby game for like an hour. I played Dreamland as a tiny fuckin baby nonstop, then played 64, then bought Star Allies solely because Adeleine was in it and went "who is this Geno ball", and then RTDDX. That's it.
