It is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS to pass through a closing level crossing. The train simply CANNOT stop in time, that's simple physics. I would prefer a rule change to a fatal accident. #RVV26 #RVVmen

Controversial fact: Antwerpen is Flemish-speaking, but it is *not* part of the historic county of Flanders. It was part of Brabant, and is in the Belgian province of Noord-Brabant. #RVV26 #RVVmen

3. If one or more leading riders make it over the crossing before the gates shut and the remainder of the riders are held up, no action shall be taken and the closed level crossing shall be considered a race incident

My opinion on level crossings:
Rules should be changed to allow for a neutralisation if there's even the possibility of the race coming to a closing/closed level crossing. After everyone has passed, re-start the race with the previous time gaps. #RVV26 #RVVmen
