Don't get me wrong, within the relative narrow range of acceptable opinion at Hillsdale, parts of this are contested. More Burkean conservatives and Catholic radtrads in Hillsdale's history or philosophy departments contest the central importance of vaguely libertarianish natural rights.

After the 1st sentence I was concerned that the essay would be like some things radtrads & fundies said after she died. Like I could believe WoF would damn people for being nice to the wrong people & showing cleavage. Happily suprised that the rest of the post was they can write fluff.

One thing I find interesting is how much more excited the kids are for Church since we started attending a normal parish. I see it as a sign of a healthy community rather than any specific liturgy. Just a thought, though, given how many radtrads claim the opposite.

Very much a wacko group and very much like Opus Dei which Pope Leo also needs to take a look---its why our SCOTUS is ruling like they are in 2026----from a Vatican 2 Catholic who thinks the RadTrads are bad for the Catholic Church!!
