The bonds of solidarity and connection are threaded into every piece of #RadicalTextiles at the Art Gallery of Sourh Australia. A really inspiring experience for anyone seeking community to build their resilience in a really dark and fearful time.

I was recently in #Adelaide to present on #TokenWars at @everythingopen.au. Took a side quest to the #RadicalTextiles exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia #AGSA - and it was confronting, surprising, and - echoing a key theme of #EverythingOpen - decidedly #HopePunk.

Also seeing some cool work by indigenous artists, reclaiming "aboriginalia" souvenir materials. These Kait James' works at #RadicalTextiles are pretty cool, but saw some similarly inspired pieces at the Melbourne Art Expo a couple of weeks ago.

More art immersion today with the #RadicalTextiles exhibition at AGSA. Am interesting range of textile based works from tapestry, to quilting and a bit of couture. Unsurprisingly a lot of the work is by women artists; but covers decorative works, trade union banners and AIDS memoria, etc.
