Far from the best animation programme I’ve attended – had streaks of ableism and fatphobia and the audience was restless – but I’ll take what I can get. Worth noting Isa Fraga-Abaza’s Birth Controlled, which is pretty unhinged in how it ratchets up the nightmare of pregnancy culture.
